Germany 2015

Welcome to Hamburg

Host families welcome their guests at the Airport

Harbour cruiser & Hamburg Dungeon

The harbour of Hamburg was founded in 1189 and is located on a branching Elbe, it's the largest port in Germany and it's the third-busiest port in Europe by the number of containers handling. It was an interesting cruiser.

The Speicherstadt is a large wharf area  on the northern shore of the river, built in the 1880s as part of the port to store different products from the harbour activity.

The Hamburg Dungeon is one of Hamburg's attractions where you can live a journey through 600 years of Hamburg's horrible and darkest history. It's an amazing experience and very funny.

Sightseeing tour in Hamburg

The sightseeing bus tour of the city of Hamburg allowed us to visit the city and see interesting places. Later on we visited the Miró Museum where we learned more about Miro's work. Finally, we gone to Miniaturwunderland, which is a model railway attraction and it is divided into seven sections. The project was created by twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun.

Gymnasium Farmsen

Students make regular class with their partners, they made a presentation of the writer and composer of their country and they worked on a common book project. The book project was displayed in a social night at the school with host families.

Students and teachers had the opportunity to learn about the German educational system and compare the differences between our schools: timetables, rules, student behaviour, cell phone ruling rules, class work....
